The Phoenix, a mythical bird, is a powerful symbol of renewal, rebirth and resilience. According to ancient legends, primarily from Egyptian and Greek mythology, at the end of its life cycle, the Phoenix burns in flames to be reborn from the ashes – young, strong and full of new energy. This cycle represents the constant ability to overcome setbacks, crises and challenges, which perfectly corresponds to what my clients describe and what I also experience in my life: the ability to recover quickly, reassess the situation and move forward with new enthusiasm and energy.

The importance of energy and action in this process is key.

Energy is the fuel that drives us to overcome obstacles. If we are exhausted or overwhelmed by injuries – whether physical, emotional or mental – our ability to get up and continue is limited. Energy balance is the result. The Yuen Method, through neutrality and working with one's own energy, helps to resolve injuries, limitations, shadows and weaknesses. Neutrality is a state in which profound changes take place and our body, mind and spirit unite in a new, harmonious balance.

When old wounds are healed, space is freed up for new energy that helps us respond quickly to challenges and get back up effectively after every fall.

The Phoenix reminds us that every fall is an opportunity for transformation. In order to ‘rise from the ashes,’ we need:

Energy balance: Keeping our body, mind, and emotions in harmony so that crises do not overwhelm us.

Action: The ability to make decisions, accept change, and act with clear intent.

Resolve wounds and weaknesses: Forgive, heal and release past pains that hold us back.

And it's not just about survival, but about constant improvement. Each rebirth brings us closer to our best selves, if we have the courage and energy to stand up again.

Like the Phoenix, we can use every fall to become stronger, wiser, and more prepared for the next part of our lives.

The Phoenix leads us to strength and energetic balance.

Challenge for you: What fall have you overcome, and what lifted you up?
